word of the day: 体karada 。休kyuu
in the first kanji there is a trust+tree+line under tree. [trust is person-specific] tree+line is root. root of person is body. Hence karada is body.

kyuu is break/rest/holiday/discontinuity. because trust/person + tree. A farmer taking break and resting under a tree.

This kyuu might have become chhuti/छुटी [kyuuti, kshyuuti, suti, chhuti] only chhuti is used in India now.
