ପିଜୁଳି

ତୁମକୁ ଖାଇଲେ ମାରେ ବିଜୁଳି

ତୁମ ଗଚ୍ଛ ରେ ଚଢିଲେ ପାଦ ହେଇ ଯାଏ ଦଳି

ତୁମ ଡାଂଗ ରେ ନାହିଁ ନଳି

କିନ୍ତୁ ସେଓ ସାଂଗ ରେ  ତୁମର  କଳି

ଯାହାର ହୁଏନି ବଦଳି

ସେ କାହୁଁ ଜାଣିବ ଏତେ ଖୋଳି

ତୁମ ଚେର ଲମ୍ବିଛି ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ରୁ ନିଆଳି

ସେଥି ପାଇଁ ହୁଏ ସବୁ ପ୍ରକାର ର ଗହଳି

ଅନ୍ୟଥା ସବୁଠି ଭିଡ [କାଁ କାଁ ] ରାସ୍ତା ହେଉ କି ଗଳି

Guava

eating you causes lightening

climbing your tree causes strain in feet

there is no hollow in your stem but you fight with apple

one who doesn’t get “transfers” wouldn’t know this

your roots are spread from Bhubaneswar to Niali

which is why there is so much crowd

Otherwise there is always solitude be it a street or a highway
