Airplanes are cheaper modes of communication than auto-rikshaw.

But airplanes do look like auto, in some sense, usually 3 main places where wheels are located in an airplane? atleast as is visible right away, in the reverse order of an auto, although technically airplanes could have far more numbers of wheels.

Airplanes do make the profit because airplanes are like shared autos. The sharing scale is massive, though. Once the barrier of purchasing and running (or flying) an airplane is overcome, it makes big profits. But the units remain frugal or rather basic.

“Yes, we have created a hype that Rs 3 is a small, cheap, lowly price, its not, just that we need several multiples of Rs 3 to get anything done in this modern world because we have vast number of needs”.

In the sense of sharing auto an airplane seats 200 people total, per km fare becomes Rs 600 instead of Rs 3.

Another interesting idea is this.

Consider the factor 200, by; 200 autos as one airplane and an additional factor of 5 to consider 1500 km air trip, assuming an auto goes not beyond 300 kms a day in all total.

Then 1000 autos would be equivalent to an airplane, — considering only one passenger per auto.

Then a city which has say 20,000 autos, is actually running a massive network of 20 airplanes a day, so to say, since actual technicalities and logistics are totally different.

Autos should start thinking about providing meals and breakfast en-route to their passengers, if they go more than one hour for the trip.
