A mouth [口] is also an enclosure. eg a country is to its people an enclosure. country [国]. You see that this encloses people/life: [生]. Also the [生] is placed upside down as it does not matter.

Menaing of Kanji [漢字]
I am trying to figure kan. 漢. This is the han dynasty. This is perhaps kan and han both because kshan = xan. Which leads to all possibilities accommodated. such as san, jian, yan, yang etc due to the alternation of consonants and vowels.

word of the day: 体karada 。休kyuu in the first kanji there is a trust+tree+line under tree. [trust is person-specific] tree+line is root. root of person is body. Hence karada is body.
