howsoever we say music is transcedental, the music of one culture never makes one from another culture appealing, what appeals is appreciating human values, music comes much later. It is only our political outlets when we say your music is so alluring to our taste. I have seen plenty of Indians calling Michael Jackson fans a culture-blot. When I was young I use to hook to the M-TV and my ma would say “you are just watching these naked ladies” Nothing more nothing less. I could never explain her the appeal transcedental cultures had towards me. I was sick of local asses singing bloody music. Till today when I listen to my country music or occassionally hip hop my mother goes “its so pincting’, my neighbours go “what is that he is listening to ..” I never had a nationalistic taste for music. I blend everywhere like color blends
