the character of particles Vs the laws of nature
There are 4 variables in a particle’s detection and characteristics that play a central role, 2 of them are the particle’s characteristics, the other 2 are nature’s laws, Heisenberg’s uncertainty law to be precise.

characteristics of photon
SO mass-energy equivalence is a special theory of realtivity effect and gravitational tensor-coupling has got nothing to do with it. A photon gets it’s energy-momentum (( energy/momentum)) from QED energy-mass (so a photon’s parent has a mass but not photon)

suggestion for CDF/D0 discrepancy
I think CDF and Dzero need to check their MC for exactness eg the list of decay modes that were studied in MC in Dzero and in CDF need to be same atleast the ones that were reconstructed.. is it possible that Dzero missed a mode or a particular branching of that mode. Very likely. suppose one intermittent resonance…

sloppy Physics explainers
We had a very interesting discussion that had sprouted in the wake of a new bump found by the CDF experiment. As usual everyone threw his tantrums at the possible explanations. (but makes me insanely irksome if the understanding reflects poor or negative “not even wrong” Physics knowledge and/or a propensity to jump the wagon…

I say these are the few characteristics of good scientists:
I say these are the few characteristics of good scientists: The ability to over come inhibition (and have inhibition as a necessary attitude) Comfortable with oneself under criticism and under rejection. Not just hard work but enterprise and a way out of adversity. Clarity, carity, clarity ….clarity clarity clarity (clairvoyance) Intuition, imagination, knowledge, technique, method, skill, labor.…
