A c++ code for calculating pi value.

Finally I am successful in calculating pi value — less than 0.3% error, by using random number generation. Although my computer needs some fixation on its compiler or path definition etc, there are very good online compilers which helps in testing and running c++ codes: try the given link.

Here is the code I found by searching a good deal on the web. Yes I did tinker around but only because my own compiler (Turbo C++ on windows 10, 64 bits) was throwing some exceptions on the included headers.

India’s Navigation Satellites.

Soon India will launch its navigation satellite on October 10. Its the 3rd of the 7 that India will set on voyage above Indian Nation’s geo-spatial surface, all of which will be set to function in their orbit by next year. India has taken its strides into space.

The quality of a scientific paper … A casual reposition.

The quality of a scientific paper are not ZERO if citation is zero. Perhaps we need to define two parameters, quality and significance of scientific communication. Quality; a well done research in the best traditions and methods available. Significance; the outreach of the paper to bring effect into others work and others understanding toward the subject matter.

While there will always be a downside to both parameters, citation reflects the significance (and quality as much as it correlated to significance) of a paper.

Why Japanese is the most elaborate Language?

Couple years ago, for this reason, not the kai reason, but any phonetic-word-attempt which gave me tons of kanjis, for same phonetics, I said, Japanese Language has so many synonyms, (perhaps this is anti-synonym, but in my defense, I don’t remember exact word I used, its a memory retrieval, you see) and still Japanese Language unites them all and makes into one language; we can also do this for Indian language.
Indian (Language) would be far easier (than the complexity of Japanese) in that, given, lets say, jack-fruit will have 8 different words only, across India, then, we have to put them all into one syllable-alphabet unit (that can be newly defined, because now we have at-least 20 ways to define) eg Hindi: kathar/kathal, Odi: panas (Telugu also Panas, I know, I asked this to my friend 15 years ago, he was from AP, his name Venkateswaralu Goruganthi, funny fella with thilak on his head, see since when I am doing my language research?) I don’t know more language, lets say: Gujurati: xyz.

Then take all Indian Language and list these into one unit. That unit would be given a special phonetic tag. (Because we don’t have any) The reverse of this has been accomplished by Japanese. By having each meaning for a single phonetic or syllable unit as a kanji (or pictorial unit) they have unified language. Back then I said, 20 some synonyms, (so many = 20) Lets count today.
As if a coincidence I found 20. Although, there would be, some redundant issues here (eg 買い and 買 ) and a few more may be left. (eg I remember, now I know some Japanese Language by memory: kai = write, kai in kaishi = begin). Lets see what we found in Japanese for kai; each of the following is kai, with different meaning. Only one is (sa)kai and couple are not known (just kai, in 2nd line), from where I am searching. Lets then, give their meaning.

A note about vowels in different languages.

( — The rendering is called as transliteration rules, eg if 1) a is said as a as in Apple or 2) a as in saw 3) a as in Asia or 4) a as in Daddy. They are 4 different transLIT rules hence 4 types of phonetic rendering of the same alphabetic-element a, a fact is used differently in different language. Similarly e fact is used differently, examples: e as in episode or e as in pen or e as in Pythagorean etc.)

Then a language is supposed to strictly define all these rules. In imitating English eg Indian languages have perhaps forgotten this basic notion and produced an immensely complex version of their own. There is therefore absolutely no point in objecting to use of English, anywhere. The thing that sucks about English is “they” are often not explicitly claiming that English likes to hide its rules, when English gets spoken enough the rules become clear, a fact immensely inconvenient for non-natives.

Apply this to the education system, we can’t criticize the students, the teachers or the admin for ever, once a reasonable bits and pieces of them (and only that no less) is in place we can’t go on around criticizing the same. WE can’t blame the teacher for ever nor can we blame the students for ever. Then we talk about education system. But whats a education system? Do we define it? WE have to first define it from its bits and pieces and see the links and processes in its most effective info-graphic, if thats possible. That would be like a carbon-cycle. We need to therefore see exactly how our education system is defined: here is higher education department and it consists of so and so with such and such qualification assigned to execute such and such. That follows regional level officers who are assigned with such and such power and privilege and RESPONSIBILITY. Then comes the tertiary level and the ground workers. And here is the process. We need to thoroughly understand the principle and the process behind each component in this info-graphic, and how effective they are. Then we need to objectify the big-picture goal and see what gets carried out and what NOT.

Why scientific inventions are more and more imminent?

After a 2000 year it took only 300 years for Einstein to overturn Newton. It took only 30 years before a group of genius (Heisenberg, Schrodinger, Bohr, Dirac et al and later Feynman, Fermi etal) who could revolutionarily modify the theories put forth by Einstein. Then it often oscillates anywhere between 3 to 100 years to see theories are overturned (or rather significantly modified) by successive group of scientists.

Bugs in your gmail?

I think I have found two bugs in gmail (by seeing its unwanted behavior)

1. This one has happened for years, now, solves itself in few hours. YOU CLICK on the email and it will not open. All other actions such as browsing through the boxes and delete etc would be working. SO you just gotta be patient for a while.

2. This one is more scary. Perhaps happening for a few months now. Seems like there is a bug that scatters the emails randomly and in large numbers (perhaps the ones it think are mass-notifications, it can drag some of your important message there if the message source is routine, that is your job-website or your bank emails) .

What happens? You can’t see a large number of emails, these are invisible, so after you read this, take my trick and check how many would be sitting in your email never read by you. You can’t and bet ya’ haven’t seen tons of emails that have been sent to you, few very urgent emails. Likely.

Exoplanet Lifes? The aliens could be debating to come or not. Thou shall not panic.

The 1 ppm mentality of India in education.

This article talks about some educational paradigms of India but gives the following anecdote to the end.

Belated Happy Feynman Birthday. 11/may/2013. He was born this day in the year 1918. 8 years younger to my maternal grand father. Which is why I am always amazed by Feynman. My grand pa was a farmer in a village of India and a teacher, a renowned teacher at that in his locality. He was paralyzed in his last years and died in 1996. Thats again exactly 8 years after 1988 demise of Feynman. Hence they both lived exactly 70 years of age. They were both outstanding teachers and artists {my grand pa was a fabulous artist, a fact I had forgotten over the years, he drew many things for me when I was about 7/8 years old, including say Shiva or Ramayana, at an instant’s notice by me}, Feynman was a bright star in the Glove, my grand pa only in his locality which perhaps extended say 100 villages if not more. Feynman was a farmer in some sense because of his hard work. But my point is Feynman’s vigor. A fact of amazement, perhaps since Feynman didn’t grow in a village of India but the communities of advanced localities. Perhaps Feynman was simply the highest standard of exuberance. My grand pa was lively and funny and loving but Feynman was a womanizer. I don’t know about this secret of my grand pa. My grand mother always crushed my interest in knowing such matters.

Economic recession and information blackout

I think all such email and other websites also suffered big time and it must have been a tremedous job to recover the information loss in these giants which were running the world for years. I had been thinking in the lines that they would be working in such directions or else there is no way economic revival is a possibility. And indeed it seems much of the info is getting recovered. Now one good thing is social sites like xeemee are connecting every site/social-presence and also you can see how networking and information sites have come up connectig each other making life not only hugely easier but making the flow of information a great advantage for various kind of services and business and personal use.

The Tesla dream

Xc; Every scientist has a high degree of respect towards Tesla including me. We use many of his inventions. Having said that in Nikola Tesla’s days particle acceleration technology was almost nonexistent. The current energy we reach is only a current technology. Naturally occurring high energy particles constantly hit earth atmosphere such as extremely high energy cosmic rays but it does not do us much harm. But if he actually gave such an interview (there are other websites also mentioning this interview) he was hallucinating as he did not understand the nitty gritties but it is impossible to send electric currents (thats what beams are) in open air that too for 250 miles. People believed him for his reputation but remember Einstein has come out plain wrong on many physics problems and his compatriots understood this far better than we do at present. Just one thing comes to my mind what Feynman said: No one is a pope in science … compare that to lightning, how it spreads everywhere, he could not have produced lightning for that sake, he should have thought a little more.

Rising Oceanic Levels

If you use that idea here you can see that 3 mm/year is really not a concern if they haven’t used the Relativistic corrections to their satelite data. But if they have taken all Relativistic effects which per a year can be really a large value compared to 3 mm/year then 3 mm/year can be studied to be some other effect. This question of any possible Relativistic error must be addressed first before any thing can be claimed about growing Oceanic water levels.
