How the kanji for measurement is coined in Japanese?

kanji equation; here is more progress in kanji equation, I made today.

Just came across the kanji, 測 (haka, measurement). This one looked quite familiar. (As I see now, I know tons of kanji, compared eg to last year, in an instant I would familiarize with them, so I set onto find the kanji equation and result: True that)

測； 氵+貝+刂 (sanzui+kai+rittou) 
Think “catching fish in water” that entails “counting” hence “measurement.”

side-note: ka (か) and ri ( り) are envisaged from each other, at the same time, chikara (force/strength, 力) katana(cutter/knife, 刀) are envisaged from each other and from ka and ri, hence phonetics and script-o-graphs (kanji+hiragana) got mixed. That is, we have one set (か, り, 力, 刀) that represents an unified element of language. Phonetics (the way eg “か” is said to be ka and Pictographs (eg 貝 = kai) leading to same meaning. eg action and method derive from ri (the same in butsuri, but slightly advanced, perhaps) so we see rittou 刂 (which is a tsukuri) same as ri (as in hiragana ri, り) and the phonetics have been retained into the language. (eg RIttou = sword, has a ri in it)

But sword represents action, method or management etc. This is the basis of how the phonetics and script-o-graph will be found in Kanji, among any other thats possible.

What a coincidence (while I was checking ka and ri, this guy popped up, call it serendipity?): kari (Japanese for hunting) shikar (Indian for hunting). If you are keeping count the 100th such word I have found? (when a Japanese or Chinese word is found to be same completely or to most parts, one prime goal of this analysis is to find a way where even if one syllable out of many are to be found across language, a way has to be reached which can be used to keep track of such)

I must tell you its this ka+ri which conserves into Indian: karya = karjya = action, method etc. And in shikar perhaps Pashu+karya (which would mean hunting animals)
